We, the students, would like to have a few changes here at Canyon View High School. For one, there should be more fun, exciting activities and assemblies. Like having the outdoors, with everyone who wants to participate can. Not just a few of the people that would like to participate. Second, music should be allowed in the halls as loud as anyone pleases. Playing whatever kind of music the students wish to have playing. Without getting in any trouble by the teachers or Officer Carter. Third, electronics specifically cell phones, IPods, Mp3s and CD Players; should be taken away in class. Just as long as other students are not distracted and they are doing their work. We also would like to wear mostly anything we please; including hats, chains, holes in pant legs. Because all students and teenagers life have been told by the adults ‘to be ourselves’. Yet we are being told by adults, what to wear and how to act, even when it’s who we are.

I agree. Adults are very confusing and I don't understand some of the dressing policies. I don't see why we can't wear chains. What harm does it do?
I agree We should be able to wear what we want and use electronics as long as we are also doing the things we need to be doing. Like school work and stuff like that. And they don't need to take our electronics away if they see them They just need to tell us to put them away in our bags.
I also thing this school really needs some changes, and not ones that make more rules to force students to follow. Schools say that they listen to what we have to say, but every time you try to talk to them about something that doesn't sound beneficial to them, or if you break a rule and say it was an accident, they don't care if its true or not, they don't listen.
Yeah electronics are ours and not theirs. They have no right to take them, especially if we are just in the hall and not in any classes. If there is no teacher to pay attention to then who cares if we listen to music or text our friends?
Alright i agree but you seriously need to learn how to write something that spelling and grammar is all messed up
Personally, I'm not sure I agree with the whole assembly thing. I agree that the assemblies we have now are stupid and dull, but I don't think getting everyone involved is going to help.
The school does need some changes but it's not the school that needs to change it is the people that attend the school. Being a cheerleader and planning assemblies that the students can have fun with is nearly impossible because no one in this school even has enough school spirit to have fun with it.
